Yellowknife – “Gateway to the Aurora”
Fly to Yellowknife, capital of Canada’s remote Northwest Territories and one of the best places on Earth to witness the Aurora Borealis. Sitting at 60° latitude, just 400 km south of the Arctic Circle, Yellowknife was once a bustling gold rush town and is now famed as the Diamond Capital of North America.
Upon arrival, enjoy a short city tour. Drive past the frozen Great Slave Lake, where in winter, cars drive across the shimmering Ice Road built atop one of North America’s deepest lakes. Visit the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre, a museum showcasing Indigenous culture, Arctic wildlife, and northern traditions.
By nightfall, head to Aurora Village – a specially designed viewing site located directly under the Auroral Oval, offering one of the best chances to see the Northern Lights shimmer and dance across the night sky. Optional Arctic adventures tour which includes such as dog sledding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and ice fishing are available (Optional – subject to weather and availability).
Breakfast, Dinner
Kick off your Arctic experience with a dog sledding adventure on the vast frozen surface of Great Slave Lake, North America’s deepest lake — an unforgettable northern tradition!
Later, board a short flight to your rustic wilderness lodge, far from city lights. After dinner, enjoy the beauty of an Arctic sunset over the icy lake, where soft twilight fades into night.
Then comes the magic: a chance to catch the Aurora Borealis dancing across the sky. With zero light pollution and prime latitude, the colors shimmer like a celestial veil dancing beautifully in the sky. It’s a sight you’ll remember for life.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Get ready for a full day of Arctic adventure — with unlimited time to zoom across snowy trails on a snowmobile! Whether you're speeding through the powder or trying your hand at ice fishing, there's no rush — take your time and enjoy every moment.
Feeling curious? Strap on some snowshoes and wander into the quiet beauty of the northern wilderness.
Lunch features freshly sliced sashimi from your catch, served with warming bison soup and homemade Native-style bread. After dinner at the lodge, stay up for another chance to witness the Aurora Borealis — if the skies are clear, watch it dance and ripple above like a living colorful painting.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Flight to Vancouver • City Lights by Night
After breakfast at the Lodge, transfer to Yellowknife to catch your domestic flight back to Vancouver. Arrive by evening and check in. Tonight, soak in the city’s night charm — buzzing bars and cafés open late into the night. If time permits, enjoy a drink at a cozy local bar or indulge in a late-night snack at one of Vancouver’s food trucks!
Breakfast, Dinner
Free Day in Vancouver • Optional Victoria Day Tour (Highly Recommended!)
Enjoy a relaxed morning exploring Robson Street, a downtown stretch lined with cafés and shops — or better yet, join our optional full-day tour to Victoria, a must-see gem just a scenic ferry ride away!
Start your journey with a BC Ferry cruise through the Strait of Georgia, where calm blue waters and lush Gulf Islands set the scene for postcard-perfect views. Upon arrival in Victoria, admire the grand Legislative Building with its regal architecture, followed by a photo stop at the iconic Fairmont Empress Hotel, famously visited by the British Royal Family.
The highlight? Butchart Gardens — a world-renowned floral paradise spanning 150 acres. Walk through vibrant themed gardens featuring over 700 types of seasonal blooms like roses, tulips, dahlias, and peonies depending on the time of year. The explosion of color, scents, and serenity here is something you truly shouldn’t miss.
Breakfast, Dinner for Group Departure only (Dinner)
Enjoy a relaxed morning with time to pack and rest. In the afternoon, begin your Vancouver city tour at the iconic Stanley Park — a 405-hectare rainforest oasis surrounded by ocean views, larger than NYC’s Central Park.
Stop by Totem Park, home to one of the largest collections of Indigenous totem poles in Canada — a powerful symbol of the region’s First Nations heritage. Drive across the scenic Lions Gate Bridge, then pass through Chinatown, one of North America's oldest Chinese enclaves.
Wrap up your walk in Gastown, where cobblestone streets and the famous steam clock offer a charming glimpse into Vancouver’s early history.
Dinner included for group departures. After that, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
