Today, explore the heart of Rome, a city layered with over 2,500 years of history.
Visit the imposing Colosseum, built in AD 70–80, once the grand arena where gladiators battled for glory before thousands of spectators. Continue to the Trevi Fountain, Rome’s largest Baroque fountain, known for its intricate sculptures and crystal-clear waters where visitors toss coins to wish for their return.
Stroll through the vibrant Spanish Steps area, where the 135 steps lead to the Trinità dei Monti Church. Along Via dei Condotti, indulge in shopping at Italy’s finest fashion boutiques, including Prada, Gucci, and Bulgari. Enter Vatican City (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the world’s smallest country and spiritual center of Catholicism.
Marvel at the grandeur of St. Peter’s Basilica, with its massive dome designed by Michelangelo, intricate mosaics, and sacred artworks. Return to Rome, absorbing the Eternal City’s seamless blend of ancient splendor and modern vibrancy.

This morning, depart for the ancient hilltop town of Orvieto, dramatically perched atop volcanic cliffs.
Ascend via funicular to the medieval Orvieto Old Town, where narrow alleys wind past stone houses, artisan shops, and cafés. Visit the magnificent Orvieto Cathedral, a masterpiece of Italian Gothic architecture begun in 1290, famous for its golden mosaics and detailed façade.
Stroll through the charming streets, and experience a local wine tasting featuring the region’s famous Orvieto Classico wines, known for their crisp and fruity character.
Continue to The Mall Outlet in Tuscany, where over 40 luxury brands including Gucci, Prada, Armani, and Salvatore Ferragamo offer collections at attractive discounts. Stroll the landscaped open-air complex and shop for Italian fashion, leather goods, and designer accessories.

Walk through the historic Florence Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where medieval alleyways open to grand piazzas. Admire the majestic Duomo (Santa Maria del Fiore), crowned with Brunelleschi’s famous dome completed in 1436, and the elegant Giotto’s Campanile, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. Pass by the historic Palazzo Vecchio, Florence’s city hall built in the 13th century, and soak in the vibrant energy of Piazza della Signoria.
Next, journey to Pisa for a guided walking tour of the Piazza dei Miracoli, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, the freestanding bell tower tilting since its construction in the 12th century. After soaking in the charm of Cinque Terre, continue the journey north to Venice, the romantic lagoon city famed for its canals, gondolas, and marble palaces. Overnight in Venice Mestre.

Experience a highlight of Venice with a relaxing gondola ride, drifting through narrow canals and passing under stone bridges, capturing the true spirit of the lagoon city.
Later, continue to Milan, Italy’s fashion and design capital. Visit the impressive Sforza Castle, the cultural heart of Milan, and admire the grand architecture of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Italy’s oldest shopping gallery lined with luxury boutiques and elegant cafés. See the magnificent Duomo di Milano, the city’s Gothic jewel boasting over 3,400 statues and breathtaking spires.
After exploring Milan, cross into Switzerland and arrive at Lugano, a beautiful lakeside city surrounded by mountains. Overnight stay in Lugano.
After breakfast, explore Lugano, the jewel of the Swiss canton of Ticino. Admire the splendid Luini’s Fresco painted in 1528 inside the Santa Maria degli Angeli Church, then stroll along the lively Nassa Fashion Street, City Hall Square, and the peaceful Ciani’s Park and Gardens by the lakeside.
Continue to Engelberg where you will ride an aerial cableway up to Mt Titlis. At the summit, dive into thrilling snow activities including snow tubing at Titlis Glacier Park, explore the magical Glacier Cave, glide over the snow with the Ice Flyer chairlift, ride the Titlis Rotair 360° revolving gondola, and brave the Cliff Walk — Europe’s highest suspension bridge.
