- Lake Baikal Museum – formally known as the Baikal Limnological Museum, is located in the village of Listvyanka on the shores of Lake Baikal, Russia. Established initially as a Limnological station in 1928, it became a full-fledged museum and institute in 1961 as part of the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences

After breakfast, head to the Northern Route National Park and journey to Cape Hobon at the northern tip of Olkhon Island, passing through Harrants, Three Colored Waters, and Three Brothers Mountain; if ice conditions allow, the vehicle will travel across the frozen lake, offering a rare chance to witness the stunning blue glacial ice—typically found in polar regions, but uniquely formed here on Lake Baikal during the Siberian winter

After breakfast, visit the South Line National Park and see the Buddhist pagoda. Experience the small bubbles trapped in the frozen lake, resembling cheering elves. Then, drive to Okay Island, renowned for the Buddhist Pagoda of Enlightenment. Next, visit Cape Horgoy to explore the stunning ice caves and the crystal-clear ice formations. There is also an opportunity to observe ice fishing up close on the lake
